TaylorMade M1 “Unmetalwoods” & PSi Irons

TaylorMade’s fall 2015 products have arrived, and they are very unique. The TaylorMade M1 driver, fairways, and Rescue® clubs round out the company’s first-ever “unmetalwood” family, featuring multi-material construction to unlock unique performance gains. The TaylorMade PSi irons bring a blend of form and function to deliver on the demands of the better player for increased ball speeds and distance without losing the elegant design and superior feel. Check out the new TaylorMade additions in detail below.

TaylorMade M1: The “Unmetalwood”

The TaylorMade M1 product family features a multi-material combination of titanium and a seven-layer carbon composite to unlock their longest driver and most fittable product line ever. The use of the carbon composite crown allowed TaylorMade to significantly reduce the overall club weight in the M1 for a lower center of gravity (CG) in its revolutionary T-Track Weight System. We are especially excited about the element of personalizing the club to each golfer at GolfTEC. The loft sleeve features 12 unique positions for up to four degrees of loft adjustment. Combined with the T-Track System allowing for changing the club’s center of gravity and draw/fade bias, this driver can truly be customized from golfer to golfer.

Beginning October 8th, the TaylorMade M1 Driver will be available in four loft options in its 460cc model (8.5º, 9.5º, 10.5º, and 12º), and three loft options in the smaller 430cc model (8.5º, 9.5º, and 10.5º).

Additionally, the M1 will feature three fairway models (15º, 17º, and 19º) and an M1 Rescue® to replace the R15 metal woods lineup. The M1 Fairway also features the carbon composite crown, which allowed an additional 5 grams of moveable weight to be added to the club to promote a draw or fade, bringing the total sliding weight to 30 grams.

TaylorMade PSi & PSi Tour Irons

TaylorMade has taken a new approach to the PSi & PSi Tour irons, in an attempt to match premium sound and feel with the distance that is often lost when choosing one over the other. The PSi irons deliver a rare balance between elegant design and superior feel along with increased ball speed and distance. What TaylorMade is calling its most advanced players iron, the irons feature the company’s new, proprietary Dynamic Feel System (DFS) to reduce vibration across the club face without sacrificing ball speed. PSi also utilizes a new Speed Pocket and Face Slot Technology that debuted with the RSi irons last year.

The new PSi irons will be available beginning November 6th in both graphite and steel shaft, while the PSi Tour will be available beginning December 20th.

Stay tuned for more information on the latest innovations from TaylorMade and when you will be able to get your hands on them in your local GolfTEC Center.
