2014 British Open Odds – Pick Your Winner

Rory McIlroy Is The Current Favorite

With the British Open getting underway on Thursday morning at Royal Liverpool, it’s time to evaluate the odds to win the tournament. You might be surprised at the current front runners given some recent tournament performances. Rory McIlroy is the current favorite to win the Championship with World #1 Adam Scott close behind. Fan favorite Tiger Woods faces the worst odds for a major championship he has faced for years. After missing the cut at Quicken Loans National a few weeks ago, many wonder if Woods will be able to truly compete in what will be his first major of the season. And even with a win at the Open Championship this week, Tiger Woods cannot reclaim the World #1 from Adam Scott.

However, there are four players that have a chance to take over as World #1 should Adam Scott struggle. Henrik Stenson, Justin Rose, Bubba Watson, and Jason Day all have a mathematical chance of replacing Scott at the top of the list. Check out the most recent odds below, courtesy of Odds Shark. Who do you think has the best chance to win the Open Championship this week?
