The new TaylorMade P•790 are packed with new technology making these fan favorite irons even better

By Sabrina Naccarato

I’ve noticed a new theme in the world of golf equipment over the last couple of years. Rather than companies launching completely new clubs, they actually take a club that has performed really well back to the drawing board and see how they can improve it. And that’s exactly what TaylorMade did with their P•790 iron line.

This line of irons has had a couple of iterations but TaylorMade knew it could still get better. Now, this would be a challenge for TaylorMade because the P•790s have been a staple and a fan favorite in their arsenal of irons throughout the past couple of years.

So, what did they do to make these great clubs even better? These previously tech-packed irons are now loaded with advanced and improved technology like newly engineered SpeedFoam™ Air for better launch conditions, a thinner head in strategic locations allowing for a significantly lower CG placement, increased tungsten mass creating stability and forgiveness wrapped in a players package and so much more. Find out what else the new TaylorMade P•790 irons have in store before and don’t forget to book your club fitting for these new irons at your local GOLFTEC!

Tungsten Mass for Low CG
Engineers developed new construction methods to thin out the body, allowing for up to 31g of tungsten to be placed in the toe. It creates a massive amount of stability and forgiveness wrapped in a players package.
