Roger Cleveland discusses Callaway Golf’s revolutionary PM grind wedge at the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show, and how the club’s namesake, Phil Mickelson, influenced its design.

In Part II of our #WCW exclusive with Callaway Golf’s Roger Cleveland at the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show, the legendary clubmaker and GolfTEC’s Jon Levy recall the story of how one of the game’s greatest short game wizards, Phil Mickelson, influenced the design of Callaway’s revolutionary Mack Daddy PM Grind wedge.

A behind-the-scenes follow-up to the duo’s intriguing first conversation about wedge bounce and different options best suited for different players, it’s amazing to hear how Mickelson’s artistic creativity follows him the same way off the course as well as on. The result, in Cleveland’s eyes and likely anyone else’s who takes a swing with the PM creation, parallels some of Lefty’s best-in-the-world short game prowess.
