Callaway completes the Rogue line with four iron models and two hybrid options featuring Jailbreak technology
By Jon Levy

Earlier this week Callaway announced the new Rogue driver and fairway woods line, which are their highly-touted follow-up designs to the No. 1 driver in the game, Callaway Epic.
The Rogue line doesn’t end there, though, as Callaway has also announced four Rogue iron models that aim to be their most well-rounded iron line to date. They’ve added two new hybrid models as well – Rogue hybrid and Rogue Pro hybrid – which are the first Callaway hybrids to feature Jailbreak technology.
Watch in the video below as I visit with Callaway’s Dave Neville to get the scoop on these new clubs and visit your local GOLFTEC to demo and purchase Callaway Rogue irons, which hit shelves on Feb. 9.

Technology Overview
360 Face Cup and VFT
Rogue irons combine 360 Face Cup technology with Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology to expand the portion of the face that delivers fast ball speed. Face Cup employs a shallow, flexible rim around the perimeter of the face that flexes and releases at impact to increase ball speed. VFT also influences how the face itself flexes to promote more ball speed on off-center hits. The combination of these two technologies promotes ball speed and distance.
Tungsten weighting for optimal flight and control
Tungsten weighting enables positioning the CG in each of the long irons with extraordinary precision, and promoting optimum launch and control at each individual loft. The tungsten, twice as heavy as steel, concentrates significant weight into a small space in the form of an intricately shaped part, which is key to precisely controlling CG location.
Urethane Microspheres for phenomenal sound and feel
The upside of a thin clubface is faster ball speed and more distance. The downside is excessive vibration that generates an unpleasant sound and feel. Urethane can be used to dampen vibration to improve sound and feel, but it can also greatly reduce the face’s ability to flex, lowering COR and ball speed. Callaway’s elasticurethane microspheres provide the sound and feel benefits of urethane without compromising COR or ball speed.
Rogue irons
Callaway’s take: How distance should feel
Long, accurate, easy to hit and versatile, with great sound and feel, a premium multi-material construction creates the best combination of distance, accuracy and playability ever in a Callaway iron. Rogue irons have a substantially-sized head with a medium topline, medium sole width and progressive offset.

MIM’d Internal Standing Wave for optimal flight and control
Tungsten-infused ISW is twice as heavy as steel to concentrate weight in a specific area, allowing precise control over CG location for optimal flight and control.
Urethane Microspheres for great feel
Dampens vibration of the thin, fast face to improve sound and feel without compromising COR and ball speed.
Callaway Rogue irons retail starting at $899.99 and hit shelves on Feb. 9.
Rogue Pro irons
Callaway’s take: The look and feel of a player’s iron with distance technology
Catering to the preferences of better players with a compact head, thin topline, thin sole, shallow cavity and minimal offset, Rogue Pro irons provide workability, trajectory control and lofts that are slightly weaker than Rogue irons.

Callaway Rogue Pro irons retail starting at $999.99 and hit shelves on Feb. 9.
Rogue X irons
Callaway’s take: A total distance overhaul
Compared to Rogue standard irons, Rogue X irons are lighter in weight, longer in length and have stronger lofts. The wide sole pulls the CG low and deep for an easy, high launch and long carry, and 360 Face Cup and VFT technologies create an iron fully geared to max out distance.

Rogue Women’s irons
Callaway’s take: Engineered to suit a woman’s game
Rogue Women’s irons are designed with ultralight weight and a wide sole, large cavity and ultra-low CG to help slower swingers build more head speed.

Rogue hybrid
Callaway’s take: The first hybrids with Jailbreak
The Rogue hybrid is the first Callaway hybrid to feature Jailbreak technology. Combining with Callaway’s Hyper Speed Face Cup technology, Rogue is billed as Callaway’s most powerful hybrid ever. A club that’s easy to launch and versatile for a wide range of players.
Jailbreak Technology For the first time in a hybrid
Revolutionary face technology stiffens the body for more impact load on the face to increase ball speed and distance.
Industry-leading Hyper Speed Face Cup for increased ball speed
Innovative Face Cup works with Jailbreak to promote fast ball speed across a larger part of the face for consistently long distance.
Easy to launch on a long, straight flight
Ultra-low CG location makes these hybrids easy to hit.
The Callaway Rogue hybrid retails starting at $249.99 and hits shelves on Feb. 9.
Rogue X hybrid
Callaway’s take: A total distance overhaul
In comparison to the standard Rogue hybrid, Rogue X employs lighter weights, stronger lofts and a larger clubhead to generate as much distance as possible.
