As we enter one of the most thrilling weeks of golf, we’re breaking down Tiger’s swing as he prepares for Augusta National.

By Sabrina Naccarato

Although this year’s Masters is going to be different due to it’s November date and the fact that the roars from Amen Corner will be non-existent, there will still be one very recognizable golfer walking the fairways of the hallowed grounds of Augusta National, giving us the sense of somewhat normalcy.

Tiger Woods and The Masters. That just feels so right to say and after his historical fifth win at the 2019 Masters that left the entire sports world on the verge of tears, there’s hardly more synonymous words than Tiger Woods and the Masters. And this week, we have the honor of watching him tee it up to defend his title.

Now, most of us will be entertained by the pureness of Tiger’s swing but for some of the real dedicated golf enthusiasts, they’ll be watching every single frame of what makes his swing one of the best in the game. But if you don’t want to do that work yourself, we’ve got you covered.

A couple of months ago, Nick Clearwater sat down with our friends Cordie Walker of Golf Science Lab and Golf Digest’s Matt Rudy to discuss Tiger’s swing throughout the years. They cover it all, from the good and the not so good and how they believe he paved the path to becoming one of the greatest the sport has ever seen.
