A Review of our trip to the Masters

For the first time since 1996 when Sir Nick Faldo walked off the grounds at Augusta National with his third Green Jacket, a Brit owns the honor of being Masters champion. Danny Willett fired a final-round 67 to finish at 5 under par, which was good for a three-shot victory over fellow Englishman, Lee Westwood, and defending champion, Jordan Spieth, who suffered an historic collapse on Amen Corner after leading by five as he stepped onto the 10th tee.

Our own Jon Levy was onsite all week, taking in everything from Augusta National’s famed Pimento Cheese sandwiches to the Golf Writer’s Association of America’s annual Wednesday meeting and awards dinner, which of course made everyone at GolfTEC Headquarters more than a tad envious.
